Privacy Policy

Haitruck ("we", "us") is a freight marketplace for iOS that connects carriers and shippers. This policy describes what information the Haitruck app and the haitruck.us website collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address. If you continue as a guest, we create an anonymous account identifier. Your account is keyed by a unique ID we use to run the marketplace.
Marketplace content. The loads and trucks you post (origins, destinations, equipment, weights, rates, pickup dates, and any contact details you choose to include), plus the offers, counter-offers, and bookings you make. Postings and their contact details are shown to other users of the marketplace — that is their purpose.
Location. With your permission, the app uses your device's location to find loads and trucks near you and to suggest a current location for postings. You can always type a city instead; location permission is optional.
Purchases. Haitruck Pro subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple account. We never see your card details. Our subscription partner, RevenueCat, processes your purchase receipt and subscription status linked to your account identifier so Pro features unlock across your devices.
Website. If you join the waitlist on haitruck.us we store the email address you submit.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: showing postings to the other side of the market, delivering offer and booking notifications, enforcing plan limits, and providing support. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the app work: Google Firebase (sign-in and account infrastructure), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple (payments, maps), and the cloud infrastructure that hosts our servers and database. Marketplace content you post is visible to other users by design. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) — this removes your account, postings, offers, and profile from our systems. You can also email us to request deletion of your account or your waitlist signup.
Children
Haitruck is a commercial freight tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be called out in the app.
